4 More Weeks!
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe we have less than one month before the Launch Party! A lot has happened since the last update, so I want to go ahead and share the news.
We have power! The day that the Electric Company turned it on, we went to the studio and started working on unboxing packages and putting things in order.
We bought some furniture for my office, the Lounge Area, and some of the sets.
I might have gone a little crazy on Amazon, B&H, and Adorama. We now have:
Another 800W Strobe
4 Stip Boxes
1 5’ Octa
4 Light Stands
2 C-Stands
This Nanlite/Godox Spotlight thing that’s really cool
I really wanted to get the Nanlite MixPanel as well, but I had to trade that in for some Giant LED Numbers. They’re 40” tall, and I know for sure that my clients will love them!
I have always wanted to own brand new Throne Chairs. My clients love them, but they’re expensive to rent! So we have added 2 Large Throne Chairs and 2 identical Small Chairs to the inventory.
We met with a guy who does flooring, and he took the measurements for the 3 rooms that we want to put flooring in. Who knew that flooring cost so much money?? But I want my office to look amazing, and I need the Selfie Room and Lounge Area to look amazing as well.
I’m a little obsessed with Neon Signs. They make me happy, and they literally light up the room. When we unboxed our Sign that came in, I decided then and there that I need at least 4 more.
So what’s next? Well, we plan to meet with the carpenter this week. We won’t be able to build our sets without the help of someone who knows what he’s doing. As soon as that is complete, the Set Designer will be able to come in, have a lot at what we’re working with, and start ordering furniture to decorate the sets.
That’s actually the most exciting part. I reeeeally cannot wait!!
