6 More Weeks!
It’s been one week since I made the announcement about our new photography studio in Norwalk, CT. The response we received was so overwhelming! Hearing “you deserve this” over and over again really tugs at my heart strings.
The funny thing, though, is that only a very select few have an idea of the MASSIVE plans we have for the space. Roody & I haven’t been 100% open with everyone for a reason—during the launch party, we plan to do “The Big Reveal.” For now, I will just continue to share bits and pieces on our social media accounts. And in case you haven’t been following along, here are some of the things we have done so far:
We ordered 102 rolls of seamless paper. Yes, we need all of that paper.
We bought 2 of these lights, these two 7’ umbrellas, and 2 of these modifiers. We still have to buy more lights and some soft boxes.
Our Neon Sign vendor has shipped our sign! It’s about 3.5 feet wide, and we plan to put it on our grass wall so guests can take photos with it at the party.
I should own shares in Party City because of how many visits I have made since last year. Now that we have our own space, we will be our own Party City. 1500 number balloons have been ordered. Next up: helium tanks.
Bath Tub #1 has been purchased and is on its way to the studio!
By the time I post another one of these updates, I should be announcing that the power has been turned on!
